This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the RoadBookAI website and by the Studio, pursuant to Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (D.Lgs. 196/2003, the Italian Privacy Code) and to the Garante's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021 (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian Data Protection Authority). Controller: M@trix s.r.l., see the Privacy page.
1. In brief
- The information website and the guide do not use cookies, nor any analytics, advertising or profiling tools.
- The Instrument Sans font and the images are served from our own server: when you open the website, your browser does not contact any third-party service.
- That is why we do not show you a cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.
2. Technical tools
These are strictly necessary and do not require consent (Article 122(1) of the Privacy Code).

rbai-lingua | Browser local storage (localStorage), website and Studio | Remembers the language you chose | Until you clear your browser data |
rbai-replay-lento | Browser local storage (localStorage), Studio | Remembers the speed threshold below which the replay colours points as slow | Until you clear your browser data |

3. App storage on the phone
The RoadBookAI apps for Android and iOS do not use cookies or analytics, advertising or profiling tools. On the phone they store only what is needed for them to work, which does not require consent (Article 122(1) of the Privacy Code):
| What | Where | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Device token and data-signing key | System keychain (Android Keystore, iOS Keychain) | Keeps you signed in to your account and signs the data of rides and stages | Until you sign out of the account or the device is revoked |
| Race RoadBook keys | System keychain | Open the encrypted RoadBook of a stage at the start time | For as long as the event remains on the phone |
| Preferences and language | App settings | Remember how you set up the cockpit and the language you chose | Until you uninstall the app or clear its data |
| Recorded rides and stages | App storage | Keep the track until it reaches the service, even without network coverage | Until you delete them or uninstall the app |
4. Third-party tools in the Studio
Only inside the Studio, after you sign in, the map is provided by Mapbox: the browser downloads the map images from Mapbox, and the library keeps the map images already downloaded in the browser cache so that it does not request them again. These are technical tools necessary to display the map you request and do not require consent (Article 122 of the Privacy Code).
5. How to delete them
You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings. If you clear the local storage, the website goes back to your system theme and language. App data is deleted by signing out of the account or uninstalling the app.
6. Updates
We will update this page if we introduce new tools. If a tool requires consent, we will ask for it before activating it.
